PALM CREEK SILVER SLIDERS LADIES SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT IS THIS WEEKEND!!!

If you Enjoy watching the Ladies Play Ball, come on out to the Ball Park this Saturday, January 16th and Sunday, January 17th, 2016 as FIVE Ladies teams will compete in two full days of competition!

The Concession will be open both days so come out for a Breakfast Burrito or one of the Famous Super BIG Burgers!!!

THIS IS THE 2015 TEAM. IN THE 2016 TOURNAMENT YOU WILL SEE EVEN MORE FAMILIAR FACES AS MORE OF OUR PARK RESIDENTS COME OUT TO PLAY BALL!  AS WITH LAST YEAR, WE HAVE A COUPLE OF GALS TRAVELING IN FROM CANADA TO STAY IN OUR BEAUTIFUL PARK!!!

Mixed Team from Palm Creek goes to Valle Del Oro in Mesa on the Weekend!!

Some Palm Creek Softball players came together to form a mixed team that played in a Men's tournament in Mesa this past weekend.

The team had a great time and won 3 of the 4 games they played!

Thanks for playing everyone, it was a LOT of fun!!!

Missing from the Photo Above were Lori, who played Friday, and hit like a "Rock Star", but was sick on Sunday, and Harry who was our number 1 fan on Friday!

For any ladies interested in playing a little softball I would be willing to meet with you at 1:00 pm on Monday afternoons at the ball field.

What I propose is that we meet and work on some fundamentals to see just what we women can do.  I am convinced that there are ladies in this park with lots of ball skills but sometimes we don't want to practice or play with the men.  That is understandable and this is an opportunity to come out on your own just to have a little fun.  I have spoken with some who say this is what they would like to do. 

I would like to start on January 18.  There will be times when the league teams will be playing on Mondays and we will have to work around that, but I am sure we can work that out as it will only be if they have rained out games to make up.  Otherwise we will be good to go. 

If you would give me a call or text so that I have an idea of interest, I would appreciate that.  If you would like to stop by to speak with me I live at # 31.
