Welcome to a new season

Welcome to the new season on the NEW FIELD!! 
 


 The first game of this season was played on a rather cold windy day but loyal fans and players still turned out for their favored sport.

 

Say hello to the new umpire....Clair....as she takes charge of the games.

 

Claire Ness SWF, is originally from Box Elder, South Dakota.  She moved to Florence three years ago  and has been as ASA Umpire for 16 years.  During that time she umpired all divisions of ball, including five national tournaments.  She achieved the Indicator Award in 2003 and her Elite Certification in 2006.  Clare has umpired in South Dakota, Texas, Iowa, Missouri, and Arizona.  When not working, she rides and train horses as well as gives lessons.  Presently she has five horses.

Score keepers and announcers are always on hand.

The new field will get nicer as construction continues.  We certainly miss the great hamburger lunches at the Home Plate Grill....but we'll be patient and wait for more progress.

Soon we'll have schedules and rosters posted so check back in a week or two.  In the meantime.....we'll see you at the field.
